Fritzing and Starduino

11 June 2010

About a 1-minute read

After many hours of grappling with my old desktop, I’ve managed to get a well-behaved installation of Ubuntu running, and have prepared some SVGs in Inkscape to make a schematic and PCB for the Starduino.

All that remains is to iron out a few details in the layout of the thing, and then I will post the results here! Once I’ve tackled the PCB design, I’ll begin the photo-shoot build of a Starduino for the tutorial.

UPDATE: The first PCB and schematic diagram for Starduino are now finished!

UPDATE: Unfortunately, the RBBB piece I made for Fritzing was backwards. Facepalming and refactoring now.

UPDATE: The PCB is now fixed! I will be uploading pictures and schematics shortly.

The new info is available on the Starduino page.
